摘要: The dating of past landslide events is one the most crucial aspects research, leading to a better understanding activity. Landslides can be extremely dangerous natural hazards, and thus, solving relationships between their activity climate variations high importance. For these purposes, data about are fundamental for such analyses. Various methods absolute exist, but precise approach that dates back several centuries based on tree-ring analysis (dendrogeomorphology). Landslide movements affect growth trees in response specific disturbances. Although dendrogeomorphic successfully used other geomorphic processes, use research actually frequent. Dendrogeomorphic landslides strongly influenced by general approaches signal extraction from series disturbed type (varying morphology, material mechanism movement). This study provides an overview basic landslides, more specifically, it reviews tree-ring-based dating. Presented review focuses various types effect built extensive database all accessible studies 1893 2020. Moreover, recommendations sampling choice individual presented. Finally, limits presented, including provided proposals further research.
