摘要: Animal models that mimic osteoblastic metastases associated with prostate carcinoma are required to improve the therapeutic options in humans. A new model was then developed and characterized immunocompetent rats. The bisphosphonate zoledronic acid (ZOL) tested validate this as a application. Rat AT6-1 tumor cells were vitro at transcriptional (bone epithelial markers) functional (induction of mineralized nodules) levels. bone lesions induced after their direct injection into femur marrow by radiography, microscanner histology analyses. ZOL effects studied vivo on lesion development cell proliferation, apoptosis cycle analysis. Apart from markers, express an osteoblast phenotype they markers able induce nodule formation vitro. disorganization trabecular growth zone level observed intraosseous well cortical erosion. itself is revealed SEM analysis polarized light microscopy. prevents such lesions, related inhibitory effect proliferation independent caspase 3 activation, but arrest. rat validated rats used show relevance using compound shows bifunctional both remodelling proliferation.
