摘要: This paper reports the clinical, bacteriological and pathological findings of a thoracic aortic aneurysm in four-year-old Anglo-Nubian goat buck, related to framework visceral caseous lymphadenitis. General clinical examination showed heart rate 75 beats per minute, respiratory 20 movements minute ruminal four minute. Superficial lymph nodes were normal upon palpation. Rectal temperature was slightly high (40.5°C). Blood test an intense leukocytosis (54,000/µL), characterized by strong neutrophil shift left. At necropsy, large blood clot detected cavity. The thickening myocardium dilatation aorta portion, presenting saculiform format also observed. A number abscesses disseminated media intima layers aorta. lumen obstruction arterial plaques consisting inflammatory infiltrate, predominantly neutrophilic detected. Abscesses found spread turbinate, rumen, reticulum, kidneys, liver, spleen, testicles wall. microbiological exam exudate confirmed Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis as causal agent.
