摘要: Abstract The nucleation and growth of metastable pitting on pure iron surface in NaNO 2 + NaCl solution were investigated by potentiodynamic tests. current fluctuations appear as cluster overlapped. active sites for depend mainly the geometry. behaviour is different from stainless steels carbon steels. On surface, many pits pile up together to form huge damage area. Pits are shallow, do not grow deeply array one along direction abrasion grooves. stable pitting.
