摘要: Canine parvovirus (CPV) is an important cause of disease in domestic dogs. Sporadic cases and outbreaks occur across Australia worldwide are associated with high morbidity mortality. Whether transmission CPV occurs between owned dogs populations wild dogs, including Canis familiaris, lupus dingo hybrids, not known. To investigate the role epidemiology Australia, PCR was used to detect DNA tissue from culled peri-urban regions two Australian states, August 2012 May 2015. detected 4.7% (8/170). There a strong geospatial association wild-dog infections domestic-dog reported national surveillance system 2009 Postcodes which tested positive for were 8.63 times more likely also have than postcodes negative (p = 0.0332). Phylogenetic analysis VP2 sequences showed they all CPV-2a variants characterized by novel amino acid mutation (21-Ala) recently identified isolates parvoviral enteritis. Wild-dog compared those Australia. For one case located approximately 10 km capture location, 3.5 years after nearest dog sampled, virus demonstrated closely related common ancestor. This study provides phylogenetic evidence
