摘要: Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) - associated smooth muscle tumors (EBV-SMT) are a rare, recently recognized distinct group of mesenchymal that develop exclusively in patients with immunosuppression. It is believed tumorigenesis is, at least part, through the activation Akt/mammalian target rapamycin (mTOR) signal pathway. We describe clinicopathologic and immunohistochemical features multifocal hepatic EBV-SMT 34-year-old acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) patient investigate status mTOR pathway this tumor. In addition, we provide review literature on findings adult AIDS patients, discuss their biologies possible therapeutic strategies.
