摘要: Cephalometric data from 61 patients who had undergone superior repositioning of the maxilla via LeFort I osteotomy by means downfracture technique were analyzed to evaluate stability skeletal and dental landmarks at various time intervals up 1 year. None these concurrent mandibular ramus or body except genioplasty all least 2 mm intrusion maxillary incisor molar. In approximately 20% patients, there was (critical value) more postsurgical movement landmarks. During first 6 weeks postoperatively, showed a strong tendency move farther upward in whom it not stable. The posterior vertically stable 90% anterior 80%. Horizontally, 80%, but when changes occurred, for back been advanced. After weeks, moved downward, opposite direction during fixation. 11 15 demonstrated vertical postsurgery, fixation release year follow-up equal initial change, so that net after less than mm. Only 6.5% (four patients) greater any variables studied surgical treatment. There no indication amount presurgical orthodontic incisors, presence multiple segments surgery, age patient, absence genioplasty, suspension wires risk factor instability.
