摘要: The physiological role of NGF as a neurotrophic factor in the peripheral nervous system is well established. essential for development and maintenance specific functions sympathetic neural-crest derived sensory neurons. acts retrograde messenger between target organs innervating regionally different quantities tissues reflect density innervation by NGF-responsive neurons, which transport membrane-confined compartments to perikaryon after bound via membrane receptors. Although function documented large number NGF-specific effects on neurons have been identified, there are two main questions remain be elucidated, namely nature second messenger(s) evolving from binding its receptor mode regulation synthesis tissues. A better understanding this would provide prerequisite rational approach pharmacological modification synthesis. This particular interest because it has recently become apparent that preservation cholinergic basal forebrain nuclei. These consistently affected Alzheimers’s disease their impaired seems largely responsible cognitive deficits disease.
