摘要: BACKGROUND: Rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is an increasingly prevalent sporting injury in adolescents. Surgical reconstruction ACL adolescents has been controversial and there little reported on functional outcomes after surgery. The aim this study was to undertake a retrospective notes review questionnaire survey group who had their surgically reconstructed over previous 10 years, assessing delay surgery, levels meniscal damage, reoperation rates, outcomes. METHODS: A chart performed 100 adolescent patients underwent arthroscopic using transphyseal technique. These were also contacted completed Knee Osteoarthritis Outcome Score (KOOS). RESULTS: One hundred records reviewed. The average age at follow-up 20.5 (SD, 2.4) years. There 49 females 51 males. Meniscal tears present 76% time surgery. rate medial increased with surgical intervention beyond 3 months. Reoperation for these 24%.Eighty KOOS questionnaire. Patients mean 4 2.2) years postsurgery. main findings indicate that 5 key domains scored 60 13) symptoms, 65 10) pain, 70 6.4) activities daily living, 54 17.6) sport recreation, 47.2 20.1) quality life. CONCLUSIONS: This demonstrates young people injuries have very high associated incidence pathology surgery graft failure. Four post-ACL many not yet returned fully state.Further research understand why are modest required. LEVEL OF EVIDENCE: Level IV-retrospective case series. Language: en
