摘要: We examine for the first time age-mixing in sexual relationships a population with very high HIV incidence and prevalence rural South Africa. The highest levels of age assortativity (the pairing like like) were casual partnerships reported by men, lowest spousal women. Given age–sex distribution this population, interventions to decrease age-gaps may be effective reducing incidence.
