摘要: Questions: How to evaluate the mixture effect on basal area increment in two-species forest stands? Is a mixed Norway spruce–silver fir stand more productive than pure adjacent stands of either species? develop generic modelling approaches assess effects stands? Location: In addition case study French mountain forests, approach used goes beyond local applications. Methods: We took advantage National Forest Inventory data unique basal-area-increment model for and spruce silver that responds ecological site conditions. The database was made up 284 stands, 196 323 these species. Results: Pure is strongly influenced by spring climatic conditions, whereas soil species has positive fir, which decreases as proportion increases. contrast, no noticeable spruce. Conclusion: developed evidencing an increment, but not spruce. mathematical formulation can be all situations. It also makes it possible compare different situations with each other.
