摘要: Silver nanoparticles and carbon black were incorporated into poly (styrene-co-acrylic acid) using an eco-friendly, emulsion aggregation (EA) approach, with final application as antibacterial electrophotographic printing ink, called toner. This approach was based on dispersing coagulating the nanosilver (nAg) (CB) particles in styrene–co-acrylic latex (previously synthesized by polymerization). Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), scanning energy-dispersive (SEM–EDX), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) revealed silver located polymeric structure of The TEM images showed that nAg had average particle size ~ 50 nm. properties determined agar-well diffusion method against gram-negative Escherichia coli. nanocomposite produced via highly potent activity toward bacteria compared neat toner, which makes it useful applications. property observed to increase concentration powder, a nonlinear behavior.
