摘要: Background Cultures of human proximal tubule cells have been widely utilized to study the role EMT in renal disease. The goal this was define growth media composition on classic responses, expression E- and N-cadherin, functional epitope MT-3 that mediates MET HK-2 cells. Methods Immunohistochemistry, microdissection, real-time PCR, western blotting, ELISA were used N-cadherin mRNA protein HPT cell cultures. Site-directed mutagenesis, stable transfection, measurement transepithelial resistance dome formation unique amino acid sequence associated with cells. Results It shown both are expressed tubule. It shown, based pattern cadherin expression, connexin vectorial active transport, resistance, line has already undergone many early features EMT. unique, six acid, C-terminal is required for induce cells. Conclusions The results show can be an effective model later stages conversion epithelial a mesenchymal cell. line, transfected MT-3, may process MET. implicates display enhanced phenotype.
