摘要: Coherent light sources have been widely used in control schemes that exploit quantum interference effects to direct the outcome of photochemical processes. The adaptive shaping laser pulses is a particularly powerful tool this context: experimental output as feedback an iterative learning loop refines applied field render it best suited constraints set by experimenter. This approach has experimentally implemented variety processes, but extent which coherent excitation can also be dynamics complex molecular systems condensed-phase environment remains unclear. Here we report feedback-optimized over energy-flow pathways light-harvesting antenna LH2 from Rhodopseudomonas acidophila, photosynthetic purple bacterium. We show phases imprinted mediate branching ratio energy transfer between intra- and intermolecular channels complex's donor acceptor system. result illustrates complexity need not prevent control, thus extended probe affect biological functions.
