摘要: Dry embryos of Lactuca sativa L. var. Grand Rapids were studied by improved techniques light and electron microscopy. Cells the dry embryo are filled with reserve proteins lipids; latter preserved in processed material only if is fixed osmium tetroxide at some stage before dehydration embedment. Nuclei, mitochondria, ribosomes, membranes show least modifications state; other organelles poorly defined may be absent. The best definition membrane systems found root apical cells, cortical cells hypocotyl mesophyll cotyledons.
