摘要: High lutetium content LGSO [Lu1.8Gd0.2SiO5:Ce] with decay time constants in the range 30–45 ns were introduced by Hitachi Chemical Ltd. (Japan) around 2006. At first an experimental development, mass production has now been established and mature 90%Lu scintillators stable characteristics have become available. The aim of this work was to assess scintillation current different times using avalanche photodiode (APD) readout. Samples from most recent Fast (∼30 ns), Standard (∼40 ns) Slow (∼47 (manufactured 2013), extracted top, middle bottom positions into ingots, studied. central emission wavelength results demonstrate good agreement for samples same ingot, irrespective position where sample obtained. photoelectron yields Slow, show uniformity. Their average are respectively 34 000 ± 1 phe/MeV, 31 200 500 phe/MeV 28 2 without any definite trend or bias respect ingots. energy resolution is 10 2% whereas identical 11 3%. light yield non-proportionality as a function irradiation investigated. 60 keV, departure linearity 16 4% 15 1% LGSO.
