摘要: Field-induced spin reorientation in single crystals of the canted antiferromagnet GdFeO3 has been observed using Mossbauer effect with a magnetic field applied along antiferromagnetic axis. Spin occurred continuously increasing field. At sample temperatures 4.2K and 2K complete was at critical fields 1.2 T 0.7 respectively. 293K 77K extrapolation gave 7.6 8.1 T. The temperature dependence is explained terms interaction between iron gadolinium ions.
