摘要: Stroke is the second leading cause of death and preeminent neurological disability. Attempts to limit brain injury after ischemic stroke with clot-dissolving drugs have met great success but their use remains limited due a narrow therapeutic time window concern over serious side effects. Unfortunately, neuroprotective strategy failed in clinical trials. A more promising approach promote recovery function people affected by stroke. Following stroke, there heightened critical period plasticity that appears be receptive exogenous interventions (e.g., delivery growth factors) designed enhance neuroplasticity processes important for recovery. An emerging concept combinational therapies appear much effective than single improving One most interventions, feasibility, enriched rehabilitation, combination environmental enrichment task-specific therapy.
