摘要: Water governance is an important, yet complex and contested field. A central challenge for researchers to engage with multiple understandings perspectives that can shape water governance, move towards more transdisciplinary approaches. These challenges are magnified early-career (ECRs), while the need approaches better support ECRs increasingly recognised, there remains a lack of understanding how achieve this within wider research community. Thus, paper investigates through auto-ethnographic inquiry practical experiences faced by diverse group engaging in research. Reflecting on our own endeavours relevant literature, we identify range path-finding challenges, explore strategies employed navigate 'uncharted waters' evolving career pathways 'Communities Practice' identified as promising opportunity enhancing opportunities reflection learning.
