摘要: A growing number of employers have begun responding to the family needs their workers. Concerns about labor shortages, productivity and global competitiveness create bottom-line reasons for a business response families. About 5,400 addressed employees’ child care with on-site centers, referral programs financial assistance. Several hundred provide elder support, usually through counselling services, long term insurance. Flexibility, flextime, job sharing work-at-home is also important employees needs. These eventually lead companies “family friendly” culture corporate communications, management training programs, designation “manager work-family programs,” incorporation concerns into strategic plan organization.
