摘要: The influence of alloxan-induced diabetes on the reactivity rabbit basilar artery to endothelin-1 was examined. Endothelin-1 induced concentration-dependent contraction arteries that higher in diabetic than control rabbits. Endothelium removal produced a enhancement endothelin-1-induced N(G)-nitro-L-arginine (L-NOArg) enhanced maximal by rabbits and potentiated this response Endothelin ETA receptor antagonist, cyclo(D-Asp-Pro-D-Val-Leu-D-Trp) (BQ-123), inhibited both groups. ETB 2,6-Dimethylpiperidinecarbonyl-gamma-Methyl-Leu-Nin-(Methoxycarbonyl)-D-Trp-D-Nle (BQ-788), decreased potency Sodium nitroprusside-induced relaxation lower These results suggest mechanisms underlying hyperreactivity include endothelial modulation contraction, with impaired endothelin activity; sensitivity nitric oxide (NO) vascular smooth muscle; participation muscular receptors.
