摘要: This study evaluates the performance of Screen for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (SPTSS) in assessment a high-risk ethnic minority sample. Participants included 317 Bedouin men serving Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), who disclosed extensive trauma and loss. The sensitivity specificity SPTSS were calculated using Structured Clinical Interview DSM-IV (SCID) as criterion posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), which was diagnosed 14.5% respondents. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis total mean scores maximized classification accuracy at cut point 5.5, yielding equal rates 89%. Likelihood ratios indicated that with positive screens did not meet criteria PTSD likely to report significant emotional distress functional impairment.
