摘要: We conducted a study on the risk for foot and ankle injuries in college football players basis of injury type player position. In February 2006, we evaluated 320 intercollegiate at National Football League Combine. All pathologic conditions surgical procedures were recorded, data analyzed by position to detect any trends. Seventy-two percent (n = 231) had history injuries, with total 287 (1.24 injuries/player injured). The most common lateral sprain 115), syndesmotic (50), metatarsophalangeal dislocation/turf toe (36), fibular fracture (25). Foot kickers/punters (100% incidence), special teams (100%), running backs (83%), wide receivers offensive linemen (80%). Lateral sprains, treated surgically only 2.6% time. Offensive likely have sprains (32%), quarterbacks highest incidence fractures (16%). are collegiate players, affecting 72% players. Thirteen underwent treatment. Trends seen types different positions.
