摘要: Some twenty years ago many speculations were made about possibilities to improve the use of well-known nitrogen-fixing plant symbioses and extend atmospheric nitrogen most important agricultural plants, like cereals. Since then our understanding molecular biology nitrogenase symbiotic interactions during root nodule formation activity enable a reconsideration these original speculations. Besides for better practical existing systems some more far-reaching will be discussed: introduction nif genes into cells higher extension host range Rhizobium or Frankia transform rhizosphere bacteria, Azospirillum, efficient endosymbionts.
