摘要: The relative sleep time response of long-sleep (LS) and short-sleep (SS) mice was determined after the i.p. injection varying doses several anesthetic agents that vary in lipid solubility. LS SS were bred selectively for differences duration ethanol-induced time. drugs tested included: halogenated ethanol derivatives (trifluoro-, trichloro-, tribromo- dichloroethanol), chloral hydrate, paraldehyde, urethane water soluble barbiturates, barbital phenobarbital. slept a longer majority these than did SS. As solubility increased, differential decreased. These data indicate do not differ only to alcohols. Rather, they sensitivity have solubilities which resemble ethanol. Furthermore, imply with low different mechanisms action high
