Compression performance of column-cell sandwich composite

摘要: Abstract A new sandwich structure which core is made of thin-walled semi-ellipsoidal shell designed, column-cell composite was prepared by pre-panel preparation process. series quasi-static axial compression experiments were carried out on 2 × 2 shell, the deformation and yield behavior thin wall shells with different materials, diameters thicknesses studied means ANSYS/LS-DYNA finite element simulation experiment. Then, effect filling mode epoxy resin mechanical properties Column-cell composites studied. The results show that process spherical can be divided into local flattening, axisymmetric depression, non-axisymmetric depression compaction stage. As thickness increases, changes from polygon to ring become three stages; small diameter requires larger force under conditions same displacement, as critical displacement flipping asymmetric buckling increases; Epoxy filled in sample specific performance better than outer unfilled resin.
