摘要: Powder processing and manufacturing operations are rate processes for which the bottleneck is cohesive powder flow. Diversity of material properties, particulate form, sensitivity to environmental conditions, such as humidity tribo-electric charging, make its prediction very challenging. However, this highly desirable particularly when addressing a only small quantity available. Furthermore, in number applications flow testing at low stress levels desirable. Characterisation bulk failure initiation (quasi-static) well established. parameters all sensitive strain with sheared, but contrast quasi-static test methods, there no shear cell characterisation dynamic regime. There handful instruments available rheometry, resistance motion can be quantified function rate, challenge relating behaviour physical mechanical properties constituting particles. A critique current state art analysis presented, effects cohesion, fluid medium drag particle shape.
