摘要: Abstract The thermodynamics of the so-called perfectly polarized electrode were employed to analyze total charge densities for a nearly defect-free Pt(1 1 1) in NaCl solutions with an excess inert electrolyte (0.1 M HClO 4 ). A complete thermodynamic analysis using potential and as independent variables has been performed. Gibbs excess, energy adsorption, numbers at constant chemical chloride adsorption surface have determined. Our results show that polarity chemisorption bond is very small. highest packing density determined by method corresponds 0.5 ML only 10% smaller than coverage expected close packed monolayer chlorine atoms. We demonstrated negative potentials, where Cl hydrogen overlaps, competitive character.
