Microwave field-to-wire coupling measurements in anechoic and reverberation chambers

摘要: Knowledge of the differences in radiated susceptibility (RS) testing anechoic (AC) and reverberation chambers (RC) is essential for analysis electronic systems to microwave radiation. We have studied field-to-wire coupling some basic wire geometries above a ground plane ACs RC. Results receiving parameters such as antenna cross section /spl sigma//sub w/ effective length wire, h/sub e/, are presented. The ratio between maximum average values may exceed 15 dB AC, being equal measured Large variations show that outcome an RS test AC depend strongly on direction polarization incident field. For realistic only few angles incidence can typically be afforded, implying substantial risk undertesting. Furthermore, RC follows chi//sup 2/-distribution with two degrees freedom. measurements do not follow same distribution.
