摘要: OBJECTIVES To investigate the effects of sevoflurane on mid-latency auditory evoked potentials (MLAEP) and compare them to changes in encephalographic 95% spectral edge frequency (SEF95). PATIENTS AND METHODS The effect MLAEP SEF95 was studied 15 patients. Anesthetic induction carried out with propofol, remifentanil, cisatracurium. After anesthetic induction, patients were ventilated achieve different expired concentrations (1%, 1.5%, 2%) during 3 consecutive 10-minute periods before start surgery. amplitude latency Na, Pa Nb waves recorded. All parameters measured at baseline fractions sevoflurane. RESULTS increase concentration accompanied by a significant decrease statistically waves. Likewise, decreased significantly. A linear relation demonstrated between variables Pa, SEF95. CONCLUSIONS Our results indicate that MLEAP is similar other gases. Even though dose-dependent way, correlated more strongly concentration.
