摘要: Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) are rare sporadic that typically occur late in life, although they the most common mesenchymal neoplasms of gastrointestinal tract. GISTs believed to originate from Interstitial Cells Cajal (ICC), a group cells identified wall the organs tract, which act as pace-maker for peristalsis and gut movements. However, familial pediatric cases have also been reported.
