摘要: Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) applications in public transportation have allowed for automated data collection, which is particularly useful planning and operations. While technological advancement of ITS has so far been extensive, their usage developing relevant operational tools rather limited. Research on operations systems not widely investigated the potential combining optimization models with originating from ITS. Such applications, could benefit such an approach include route planning, scheduling resource allocation real time. In this context, paper investigates critically discusses methodologies transport operations, can data, highlights identifies possible research paths that area. The overview literature collectively points to a series common challenges faced by professionals underlines need better decision support data.
