摘要: During 'Meteor' Cruise 17 in July 1991, bottom water and sediment samples were taken from 3 stations on a 7 km long transect along the continental slope of western Barents Sea between 74" 58.3' N , 14" 44.8' E 59.8' N, 40.1' E, across an area occupied by macrofauna feeding at sediment-water interface 1340 m depth. Profiles oxygen, total particulate matter, inorganic organic carbon, bacterial abundance chlorophyll equivalents benthic boundary layer (10 to 40 cm height above sea floor). Between upstream downstream matter carbon decreased 41 23%. respectively. 10 25 seabed. Chlorophyll increased 8.5'36, sediments 56%. Abundance showed no significant correlation data. Compared vertical particle fluxes, as determined trap data, fluxes floor corrected lateral advection factor 2 3.7.
