摘要: The mathematical simulation of the evacuation process has a wide and largely untapped scope application within aircraft industry. function model is to provide insight into complex behaviour by allowing designers, legislators, investigators ask ‘what if’ questions. Such model, EXODUS, currently under development, this paper describes its evolution potential applications. EXODUS an egress designed simulate large numbers individuals from enclosure, such as aircraft. tracks trajectory each individual they make their way out enclosure or are overcome fire hazards, heat toxic gases. software expert system-based, progressive motion being determined set heuristics rules. comprises five core interacting components: (i) Movement Submodel — controls physical movement passengers current position most suitable neighbouring location; (ii) Behaviour determines individual's response prevailing situation; (iii) Passenger collection 22 defining attributes variables; (iv) Hazard atmospheric environment; (v) Toxicity effects on exposed products, heat, narcotic gases through Fractional Effective Dose calculations. These components briefly described capabilities limitations demonstrated comparison with experimental data several hypothetical scenarios.
