摘要: Restoration ecology is a deepening and diversifying field with current research incorporating multiple disciplines infusing long-standing ideas fresh perspectives. We present list of 10 recent pivotal papers exemplifying new directions in ecological restoration that were selected by students cross-disciplinary graduate seminar at the University California, Berkeley. highlight applies theory to improve practice context global change (e.g. climate modeling, evaluation novel ecosystems) discuss remaining knowledge gaps. also recognize social coupled nature systems, ranging from incorporation cultural values Traditional Ecological Knowledge into restoration, consideration broader impacts markets on practices.
