摘要: The diet composition and feeding habits of the Eurasian otter (Lutra lutra) were studied by post mortem examination individuals (n = 236) found dead in Hungary order to test dietary differences between sample types (stomach rectum), calculation methods different factors. A relationship was summarized wet weight (W) occurrence number (O) food remains detected stomach. Otters preyed primarily on small-sized (< 100 g) cyprinids, mainly non-commercial fish. stomach contents differed according factors: season — autumn winter fish eaten higher proportions but spring summer there more amphibians; sex males prey proportions; age group juveniles consumed invertebrates cause mortality otters roads had ratios. rectum content showed a three considered (W, O B estimated biomass composition). In examined items (which is nearest actual ingested) relates non-invasive collecting spraints) basically similar.
