摘要: An understanding of the photopigments is indispensable as, primary process in photoreception starts with absorption light quanta by photopigment molecules, which turn triggers long train visual process: molecular transformation, production transmitter, ionic movements, and often substantial structural changes within cells. Subsequently synaptic transmission electric signal to higher order neurons occurs eventually a behavioural response elicited, all this being result initial quanta.
