摘要: Myotis simus is apparently restricted to tropical and subtropical South American lowlands, with a possible disjunction isolating northern southern populations. Twenty-eight museum literature records were assembled analysed in the context of taxonomic review species Myotis. In order model distribution M. simus, reveal putative areas occurrence environmental constraints its distribution, as well test previously proposed hypothesis disjunct Maximum entropy algorithm (MaxEnt) was implemented on information retrieved from sampling localities, using nine variables. Two regions increased probability values revealed Amazon Parana basins, connected by bottleneck southeastern Bolivia, which provides further support for disjunctive distribution. The predicted strongly associated drainage precipitations driest quarter, mean temperatures warmest quarter altitude. Andean eastern slopes Guyana, Central Brazilian plateaus delimit geographical confirmed document presence both terra firme floodplain lowland forest savanna formations across America.
