摘要: Abstract Field experiments were initiated in May 1999 and continued through 2002 to investigate the application of municipal solid waste (MSW) compost fertilizers lowbush blueberry (Vaccinium angustifolium Ait.) fields. Three sites selected: Debert, N.S. (Truro sandy loam) two near Musquodoboit, (both Rawdon gravely loamy sands). Treatments at each site a randomized complete block design with six treatments (control [no fertilizer], NK fertilizer, NPK three rates MSW compost) blocked four times. Compost provided equivalent 100, 200 400 kg ha−1 total N. The experimental objectives evaluate soil plant response determine whether it could be used as an alternative traditional chemical fertilizers. Yield, fertility, leaf fruit nutrients examined following years treatment applications. had significant effect on pH extractable levels P, K Ca, influenced N samples. Fruit yield nutrient content, except for Mn, not affected by treatments. In general, amounts essential without negatively influencing trace element absorption.
