摘要: Adsorption of CTAB and HBr on Pt(100) in acid solutions were studied by using cyclic voltammetry (CV). The effects bromide anion (Br−), cetyltrimethylammonium cation (CTA+) together with Br− (CTAB) the long-range ordered structure investigated systematically analyzed quantitatively. It has demonstrated that adsorption both CTA+ can protect Pt(100). upper limit potential CV below which is starting to be disturbed was measured at 0.6 V 0.1 M H2SO4, it shifted positively 0.9 H2SO4 + 1 mM HBr; this been further postponed even a higher 1.1 solution, demonstrating ability protecting > HBr. adsorbed desorb simultaneously proton adsorption, while firmly irreversibly could mostly removed CO adsorption/stripping. results revealed origin (100) mainly through inhibition oxygen comes from irreversible adsorption. study thrown insights understanding interaction Pt(100), interpreted as shape-tuning agent more favorable yield Pt nanomaterials surface structure.
