Investigation of channel shear connectors for composite concrete and steel T-beam

摘要: This paper evaluates the behavior of channel shear connectors, embedded in a concrete slab, with different materials. The results series limited push-out specimens were presented and discussed. tests comprise connectors types concrete. Reinforcement was included some specimens, as well. showed that using reinforcements enhances ductility capacity composite system channels unconfined normal concrete, has brittle performance. is less lightweight aggregate compared to ones. Adequate reported for most types. In addition, it verified connector presents very rigid behavior, during primary phase loading. Using longer length can increase system. general, ductile behavior. tested structures. also discussed effect types, on load–displacement performance specimens.   Key words: Shear connector, test, load-slip curve, composite.
