摘要: Magnetic separation of iron in rare-earth tailings was achieved by magnetizing roast process with coal as reductant. Effects the temperature, carbon to oxygen ratio, and cooling type on magnetic susceptibility composition were investigated. The results show that conditions temperature 650 °C, ratio 3.85, holding time 2.5 h are favor reduction Fe2O3 Fe3O4 when roasted is cooled along furnace. Under these conditions, 2.36 very close theoretical value (2.33). However, furnace not satisfactory. Through comparing different ways, it found water more favored than air cooling. Grade recovery concentrate from 45.00%-49.00% 65.00%-77.50%, respectively.
