摘要: Abstract This study is the first to provide a comprehensive speed of sound database for multi-component jet mixing at high pressure. It serves as unique reference numerical simulations mixture preparation processes in future liquid rocket engines and internal combustion engines. We performed quantitative measurements zones five configurations with well-defined experimental conditions. The covers three different injectant fluids (two alkanes fluoroketone) that were brought beyond their critical temperature pressure prior injection discharged into cold nitrogen supercritical (with respect pure properties). Here, we chose conditions such subsonic jets obtained re-condensation due cooling injected fluid was prevented. Hence, data single-phase binary systems. Quantitative are presented along centerline sufficiently spatial resolution properly resolve axial decay. In addition, two radial profiles position close nozzle allow an assessment transversal characteristics. show consistent trends, which corroborate effects correctly resolved measurement.
