摘要: This study investigates endocytosis of Saccharomyces cerevisiae α-factor receptor and the role that oligomerization plays in this process. contains signal sequences cytoplasmic C-terminal domain are essential for ligand-mediated endocytosis. In an complementation assay, we found oligomeric complexes undergo when binding site located different receptors. Both vitro vivo assays suggested ligand-induced conformational changes one Ste2 subunit do not affect neighboring subunits. Therefore, recognition sequence change likely to be two independent events.
