摘要: [1] A new technique for estimating the outgoing longwave radiation (OLR) from radiances observations in infrared window (WIN; 10.5–12.5 μm) and water vapor (WV; 5.7–7.1 channels onboard geostationary operational Indian National Satellite (INSAT) Kalpana has been developed. The OLR is estimated WIN WV via genetic algorithm (GA). transfer functions that relate narrowband (WIN WV) were developed using radiative model. It shown inclusion of information development function significantly reduces retrieval error as compared to single channel approach. analysis shows model may be retrieved within 2.5 Wm−2 rmse channels, which smaller than by earlier methods used estimation two WV). GA clear advantage over multi-channel regression radiances.
