摘要: The year 2020 has yielded twin crises in the United States: a global pandemic and public reckoning with racism brought about by series of publicized instances police violence toward Black men women. Current data indicate that nationally, Americans are three times more likely than White to contract Covid-19 (with further variance state), pattern underscores general phenomenon health disparity among (Oppel et al. New York Times 2020; APM Research Lab Staff 2020). Once exposed, are twice as die virus. Unsurprisingly, report higher levels fear their peers, but they also hesitancy vaccine. This paper explores why this apparent discrepancy exists. It provides practical recommendations for how government leaders might address vaccine context 2020.
