摘要: A novel and compact bandpass filter (BPF) using meandered microstrip/coplanar waveguide (CPW) hybrid structures paralleled with a pair of open-ended stepped impedance resonators (SIRs) is proposed. The distinct filtering characteristics this new classification transmission line are investigated theoretically experimentally. At the bottom substrate material, two identical CPW short-circuited an open-circuited resonator broadside-coupled to top microstrip main line, respectively. To reduce area filter, folded microstrip/CPW composite SIRs have been applied layout. demonstrator approximately 4.6 % fractional bandwidth (FBW) at center frequency 6.45 GHz designed. developed successfully realized in theory verified by full-wave electromagnetic (EM) simulation experiment. obtained responses demonstrated excellent band-pass property. Measured results good agreement results.
