摘要: Summary Objective While it is widely accepted that inhaled glucocorticosteroids represent an effective treatment for allergic rhinitis, little known on the specific effects of this therapeutic approach in other upper airway disorders childhood. The aim study was to evaluate improvement clinical symptoms and changes local cellular inflammatory reaction induced by budesonide inhalation suspension children with recurrent nasal infections using delivered Rinowash ® a nebulizer designed treat structures. Methods In randomized, controlled-open study, 14 (5.88 ± 0.56 years age) chronic obstruction were enrolled randomly treated 7–10 days either (250 microg/bidie) (nine patients) or saline solution (five patients). Before after treatment, cells brushing symptom score evaluated. Results Out nine patients budesonide, two excluded from analysis because acute respiratory requiring systemic antibiotic treatment. A significant decrease neutrophil percentage observed ( P  = 0.016) but not  = 1.00). No mononuclear cell eosinophil proportions  = NS, each comparison). Treatment solution, associated reduction  = 0.016). Conclusions These preliminary data indicate short-term suspension, used indication out label, may significantly reduce neutrophilic inflammation infections.
