摘要: This paper describes basic research carried out to design a microwave source module employing the concept of an active-integrated leaky-mode antenna. The novel active-antenna utilizes microstrip as radiating element while adopting uniplanar technology for active circuit design. is operated in first higher order odd mode, which leaky and excited by proximity-coupled center-fed slotline on same surface microwave-integrated circuit. measured performance X-band transmission-type injection-locked antenna demonstrated that such approach was suitable linear array integration quasi-optical power combining. harmonic-balance (HB) analysis proposed agrees with measurements both free-running frequency level. radiation patterns also agree well theoretical predictions.
