摘要: The term discrete element methods comprises different techniques suitable for a simulation of dynamic behavior systems multiple rigid, simply deformable or fully separated bodies simplified arbitrary shapes, subject to continuous changes in the contact stares, and varying forces, which turn influence subsequent movement bodies. Such problems are non-smooth space time, unilateral constraints need be considered. A system its position continuously under action external forces interaction between bodies, may eventually lead steady-state configuration, once static equilibrium is achieved. For rigid law only constitutive considered, while continuum needs included category specifically refers simulations involving large number where locations. Discrete not frequently applied macroscopically but have also been successfully utilized microscopic setting, very simple laws individual particles provide material observed at homogenized, macroscopic level.
